Rebrand, graphic design, website redesign
Acquia provides software, services, and technical support for users of the Drupal enterprise content management platform. In 2018, they embarked on a full brand overhaul, hiring me to guide the design and build-out of their new direction. The work would involve a comprehensive redesign of marketing and sales collateral, everything from email templates and event presentations, to e-books and video marketing content. Next, the Acquia website required improvements to its design, functionality, and user experience in order to serve as the most visible and centralized repository of the new brand.
I worked directly with Adrianna Shukla to perform a comprehensive audit of the current website. After establishing clear goals and a new direction, I designed wireframes and page designs to work with current and future content. Based on success of the initial website redesign, I worked with Adrianna and her development team to produce new designs for each subsection of the website, ensuring a consistent presentation of the overhauled brand identity and, most importantly, an improved user experience.
The website was designed in Adobe XD, uploaded to Avocode for review, then implemented by the development team.
